Dr Munjed Al Muderis

Professor Al Muderis is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the limb reconstruction branch at the MQ Center in Sydney, Australia. He is a specialist in hip, knee, trauma and osseointegration. He is a member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons.
In 2010, Prof. Munjed Al Muderis created the OGA (Osseointegration Group of Australia) which has become the largest osseointegration center in the world. He has performed more than 600 procedures and has trained surgeons in more than 20 countries.
In 2014, Prof. Al Muderis and his team designed an implant and surgical technique that allowed the osseointegration procedure to be performed in a single surgical stage without compromising the results. This advance reduces the risks of a second intervention, simplifies and speeds up the rehabilitation process, allows better management of soft tissues and lower costs.
